More Than Turning Pages

Anyone who thinks working in a bookshop is not manual labor and is mostly turning pages has no idea!

Behind the carefully placed books in the shelves are heavy boxes, lifted and carried again and again. Shipments of books and collections arrive by the hundreds, sometimes weighing more than they look, each one needing to be unpacked, checked, sorted, and prepared by hand for display in the store and put into the online Store - this is how books continue to find their way to the people who need them.
