The spirit and ideals of the 1968 generation soared over the waters - collaboration, optimism, creativity, a sense of freedom of expression and critical thinking, but also a strong will to make art more visible in the cityscape and reach the public. \u003cbr\u003eThis book traces the history of the exhibitions, but also discusses their prehistory and the history of the Reykjavík School of Fine Arts.
