All tables are intact and good.\u003cbr\u003e Mårten Strömer, born June 7, 1707 in Örebro, died January 2, 1770, was a Swedish mathematician and astronomer.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Strömer became a student at Uppsala University in 1724 and a professor of astronomy there in 1744. In 1756 he was asked by the state to establish the Admiralty Cadet School in Karlskrona. He found that this situation could not be combined with the professors, and he left in 1765.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e He became a member of the Vetenskapsakademien in 1739, the same year it was founded. \u003cbr\u003eStrömer is a prominent player among Swedish mathematicians. His adaptation of \u003cb\u003eEuclid's Elementa\u003c\/b\u003e (1744) was soon published in new editions. Among other works, Marks \u003cb\u003eInledning till trigonometry plana\u003c\/b\u003e (1749) and \u003cb\u003eLäran om klotet och sphæeriska trigonomiten\u003c\/b\u003e (1759) as well as astronomical and meteorological observations.
