They previously lived in Skálavík.\u003cbr\u003e Kristján moved to Reykjavík in 1920 and has lived there ever since. He is married to Kristín Lilja Hannibalsdóttir from Önundarfjörður and they have six grown children.\u003cbr\u003e Early on, Kristján had a great interest in woodworking, although other things would become his main occupation. For the first half of his life, he worked equally as a carpenter and a shopkeeper. In 1948, he bought the shop Nova on Barónsstígur in Reykjavík and has worked there ever since.\u003cbr\u003e Over two decades ago, a turning point occurred in Kristján's life that led his mind and actions to a living faith, and he hopes that these poems might provoke some to reflect on the eternal journey of generations.
