The photos were taken by Ingálvur av Reyni.

Tummas Napoleon Djurhuus. He was born in Kollafjörður in 1928. When he was young, he went to Havnar, took his real exam and then, in 1946, his student exam. For a time he worked as a temporary worker, studied philosophy at the learned university in Cape Mannahavn, but then in 1949 he went to Føroya teacher training school, from where he graduated in 1952. For a time he was vicar in Fuglafjörður, but in 1953 he was put to work at the intermediate and real school, the latter named Tórshavn Kommunuskuli. In the school year 1962-63, he was on a semester at Danmarks Lærerhøjskole in Keypmannahavn, and that year he was responsible for the publication of a new paper, Framin, published by the youth association Oyggjaframi. Tummas was on the editorial board for the first year, 1962-63.

In the following year, he made more historical poems for Útvarp Føroya, and he often took part in the radio's entertainment programs.
Tummas Napoleon died in 1971.
For a long time, the young blåðung made Tummas a land-stealer by his taunting, the rags about Kollfjörður's weather, about Melis and the lifelong student, Trolpól's son, flew around the country and became plagues of the land. In 1961 he published the first collection »Tættir og víður« and in 1970 came the second collection: »Háfjalssolin og hostasevjan«.
