Rare.\u003cbr\u003e Carl Erik Kjellin, born January 18, 1776 in Gothenburg, died January 6, 1844 in Kumla, was a Swedish mathematician, professor and later priest.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cbr\u003eKjellin became a student in Uppsala in 1794, a master of philosophy (with second honors) in 1803 and a docent in physics in 1805, but he was appointed professor at the Göta Artillery Regiment in 1806. Since this position in the 1809-10 Riksdag, he was put on probation and for some time (1811) lectured at the Swedish Artillery Regiment, in 1812 he became a professor of mathematics at the University of Lund, a priest 1819 and erhöll 1825 Kumla pastorate in Strängnäs stift.
