The illustrator is Björn Þorsteinsson, but the book also includes pictures by Odd Sigurðsson, Jón Viðar Sigurðsson, Sigurbjörg and Guðrún Ása Grímsdætur. Guðmundur Ó. Ingvarsson drew the topographic maps based on printed original data from the National Land Survey.
