Oddfríður married Ingólfur Sveinsson and they had three sons, one of whom was Guðmundur, a pianist.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Oddfríður worked in retail, etc. before becoming a stay-at-home housewife. After her husband's death, she worked in retail, etc. She most recently worked for the State Pharmaceutical Company. Guðrún Erlingsdóttir, Erling Þorsteinsson's widow, published it in a book called Dropar, which was published in 1927. When Oddfríður was 86 years old, she self-published the book of poems Rökkvar í runnum. The book contains poems written at various times, as well as song lyrics, scout poems and translations. On the book cover, Oddfríður says that now autumn has come and rökkvi í runnum and the evening of life is passing, and the book is therefore also a farewell to friends and fellow travelers. Many of the poems were written by Hreðavatn in the Laxfoss area. The poem \"Rökkvar í runnum\" has been sung on records by Sigurður Ólafsson and later Þuríður Sigurðardóttir and Ragnar Bjarnason, but the song was composed by Jónatan Ólafsson, Oddfríður's cousin.
