In the Faroe Islands, sagnadansar are simply called \"kveði\". In Iceland, sagnadansar are also often known as vikivakar, but they should not be confused with so-called vikivakaði, as such dance poems are lyrical.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e The authors of the poems are almost invariably unknown, but the poems have parallels in the Nordic countries, Britain and elsewhere.
