After the Dust Settled

After tearing down the wall came the less dramatic, but equally necessary part: tidying up. Sorting piles, shifting stacks, and rediscovering what had slowly disappeared behind shelves over the years.

As always, it wasn't just books that came to light. Before we knocked down the wall, we all placed our bets on what treasures (or horrors ;-)) might be hiding behind it. Two guesses were almost spot on: we predicted a gold treasure and a dead mouse.

What did we actually uncover? An old Visa gift card and a tiny figurine which (if you squint hard enough and but a little amount of imagination into it ;-)) looks suspiciously like a mummified mouse.

Not quite the gold treasure we hoped for... but close enough for bragging ;-)

And: among the dust, between the piles there was also: the military hat. No one remembered exactly when and how it came to the store but there it was and so everything is back in ORDER at Bókin.
