In the morning. Poem by Einar M. Jónsson.
Einar M. Jónsson was born in Stokkseyri in 1904 and his parents Hildur Einarsdóttir and Jón Gíslason, who lived in Unnhól, were very handsome people and known for their kindness. Einar went to the Reykjavík High School and later studied theology. But in the 1930s he fell ill and was bedridden in hospital for 18 consecutive years. In his last years he lived alone in a room under the sun at the Grund nursing home. But after a trip to Denmark and Sweden, he returned home a new man, went to Reykjalund and became principal of the Industrial School in Reykjalund.
