All flesh is hay. A novel by Þorgrím Þráinsson.
In January 1992, writer Þorgrímur Þráinsson received a phone call from a stranger who wanted to tell him a story. The story's premise was rather brief, but it piqued Þorgrímur's interest, not least because his interlocutor was known for his clairvoyant abilities: "A young woman regularly appears to me who says she will not find peace in her soul until someone has told her story. She died over 200 years ago!" All Flesh Is Hay is the story of this long-dead Icelandic woman. Þorgrímur has clothed her story in flesh and blood in a memorable way. When he had finished the first draft of the book, the young woman sent him the message that she had arrived in a beautiful dress made of blue clouds. (Bókatíðindi 2004).
