The 2004 FÍ Yearbook covers the Borgarfjörður region, more specifically from Hafnarfjall and Skarðsheiði in the south and west of the Norðurá, Hvítá and Borgarfjörður rivers in the west. In the north, the coverage is limited to Tvídægra and Arnarvatnsheiði and in the east by Langjökull.
The book contains a well-written overview of the region and its landmarks, a general description of the formation of the landscape, and a description of individual regions and heaths.
