Guðrún Helga Finnsdóttir (6 February 1884 – 25 March 1946) was a West Icelandic writer. She was born at Geirólfsstaðir in Skriðdalur in the Fljótsdalshérað district. She attended the Laugaland Women's School at the age of sixteen. She married Gísli Jónsson, a printer, in 1902 and moved with him to Winnipeg, Canada, two years later. She lived there until the end of her life. Guðrún began publishing short stories in the Journal of the National Patriotic Society and Heimskringla from 1920. The short story collection Hillingalönd was published in Reykjavík in 1938 and another collection, Dagshríður spor, in Akureyri in 1946 after her death.
