The couple, Jón and Lilja Jónsdóttir, have run Oddi hf. and Vestri ehf. in Patreksfjörður for years and have never sold a single extra kilogram of quota from their fishing operations. The business is primarily intended to provide a livelihood for the local community and provide the people there with as secure employment as possible.
