Þorfinnur Jónsson of Ingveldarstaðir in the Kelduhverfi district can easily be considered one of the nation's young poets, and he wasn't even that when he began writing poetry in earnest in his forties. And at the age of 83, he is releasing a second collection of poetry and fiction.
Þorfinn's subjects are varied and the tone he strikes is diverse. It is no secret that here he is a farmer and a child of nature on the move, and the author's concern for the land and the life lived there is obvious.
