Four American Poets contains 92 poems by the poets Carl Sandburg, William Carlos Williams, Anne Sexton and Alan Dugan. The book is a co-print of issues 12-15 in the series LJÓÐAKVER that Hallberg began publishing after he moved to Reykjavík from New York. Hallberg died last January and his last wish was that his relatives publish the translations of the poems he died from. Now that work has begun. (Bókatíðindi 2011).
