I let everything blow away. Letters and diary entries from my school years. Ólafur Davíðsson. Finnur Sigmundsson prepared the printing.
Ólafur Davíðsson (26 January 1862 – 6 September 1903) was an Icelandic naturalist and ethnographer. He studied natural history at the University of Copenhagen but immediately began to turn to ethnography, including at Árnasafn. In 1897 he returned to Iceland and became a teacher at Möðruvellir in Hörgárdalur, while simultaneously collecting folklore and conducting academic work.
Ólafur drowned in Hörgá, unmarried and childless.
