In autumn colors. Poem by Ívar Björnsson from Steðja.
Ívar Björnsson from Steðja was an Icelandic teacher at the Icelandic School of Commerce.
"In terms of subject matter, the poems are no less diverse, although most deal with human fate, kindness and war, pleasure and love or their opposites. The country and its nature also form a rich subject matter in many of the poems. Although some of them are imbued with seriousness, others are light on humor and there is often a surprise at the end of the poem," says the introduction.
