He has worked on it for several years, researched manuscripts in domestic and foreign collections and has put great care into his work, as can best be seen from the extensive essay he has written in the introduction. But this publication, although completely independent, is the first in the collection of Icelandic folklore, which is currently being worked on by the Almenna bókafélagi. (Cover text).
