Poem by Stefán Ólafsson from Vallanes.
A few verses
Dedicated to Reverend Eirik Ketilsson.
From a pure heart, greetings are ready.
come to your aid,
I mean, all your years are alienated.
You are a broken spirit.
You are always endowed with dignity,
victory adorned with ravens,
Always dressed in desolation, worthy,
wealth adorned with truth.
You will be followed by victory, my dear.
Bound by honor and loyalty,
harmful, a subject from you,
therefore the fear is broken.
I have gathered, sector grass,
yellow-nosed feather sow
and not rejected, when you see,
his latter degree.
Still, this should be offered
a bright steel bush,
outside the press, late saw
composed a study of the well.
Mine is not clear.
or good meeting,
A wise man, indeed a poor man,
considered mother, bound.
This font is crooked and ugly.
a furry lump of pen,
still the leaf flutters slenderly
Take your hand away, my friend.
Peace be with you,
The seeds of virtue are sown,
Here lies the glory,
remain loyal to the deeds.
