Poem by Guðfinna Jónsdóttir from Hömrum.
Snow
As silent guests walk
in a house of worship and a consecrated choir,
then falls gracefully to the ground
the first winter snow.
About a flower field in late autumn asleep
He trembles, the blade trembles,
but changes in the course of human life
in a blood-dark foreboding.
But up by a desolate glacier,
deep in the mountains,
falls in holy peace
the white, eternal snow.
