Sveinbjörn I. Baldvinsson has previously published one book of poetry, Í SKUGGA MANNSINS 1976, and a poetry album, STJÖRNUR Í SKÓNUM, 1979, for which he wrote both music and lyrics. POEMS FOR THEM AND THEM is the third work he has published.
Sveinbjörn is a unique poet, his subject matter diverse, his poems concise and everything taken in a firm grip. These poems are written both in Iceland and abroad, deal with what meets the eye, but are by no means navel-gazing. Their tone is lively and they are tinged with sparkling humor.
