Ásgeir, who died in 1995, was a well-known storyteller, as many visited him and enjoyed the company of this simple, cheerful man who wanted to do good to everyone. Einar Guðmundsson, farmer at Seftjörn in Barðastrond, put the book together, together with his wife Bríeti Böðvarsdóttir, who provided a variety of visual material.
