Here, there is a competition in the high jump, long jump and triple jump, all without training. Then there is a demonstration competition in the basketball court. Two teams are registered to play and four competitors in each team.
These are big games, 34 competitors registered to play. In the high jump, Jafet Sigurðsson and Geirharður Þorsteinsson are tied for a new Icelandic record. Jumping 1.65 meters. In the long jump, it is Geirharðr Þorsteinsson who is the fastest, jumping 2.78 meters. But the Icelandic record is held by Jafet Sigurðsson, 2.82 meters. It has not been recorded who won the triple jump.
