Patterns are changing - Landsverk has been building land for 60 years.
This year marks the 60th anniversary of the foundation, which some of us know today as part of Landverk, was put on hold. In this connection, a book has been published under the title "Mynstur breaktast - Landverk bygt land i 60 år".
In the past six years, the country has changed more than most could have imagined. The changes in the landscape have created new patterns and systems, which create new possibilities.
In this book, Landverk wants to describe the town in a social context and immediately take a historical picture of the town. The book describes how the establishment in its fort has influenced and continues to influence society and the community. This is not just a picture about the past and history, but also about the present and the future.
The foundation Landsverk has the subtitle "builds land". Building a country is a complex task, which can be concrete as a bridge and abstract as a unity. The texture in this piece moves between the two pieces and binds them together.
The book is made up of eight chapters, some of which give an account of the activities of the society in the community during this time. They are Firouz Gaini, a folk life expert, who has written these parts.
Between these eight parts, significant and touching events of the period are discussed, unfettered by the main characters. Helgi Jacobsen, journalist, has written.
