Without feathers. Poem by Sigfús Bjartmarsson.
"Sigfús Bjartmarsson is one of those authors who draws inspiration from world literature but still stands firmly in Icelandic tradition, as he hails from Sandi in Aðaldalur. His new book is in seven parts, which contain either short poems or longer poetry collections, and the largest are called "Stefnumót" and "Cro-Magnon meninn koma". But although there are long poetry collections here, Sigfús's form is even more chiseled than before, he prefers to arouse the reader's imagination with few words rather than to over-explain things." (Publisher's introduction).
