Our poems. Poems by Hallgrím Th. Björnsson and Lóa Þorkelsdóttir.
The authors of Okkar ljöða are the couple Hallgrímur Th. Björnsson, head teacher in Keflavík, and Lóa Þorkelsdóttir.
Hallgrímur was a Húnvetningur by birth, from Gauksmýri in Vestur-Húnavatnssýsla. He was the editor of the monthly magazine Faxi in Keflavík for more than two decades, and many of his poems were published there. It was so with Lóa's poems that for a long time she kept her relations with the poetry community secret and few knew that she was involved in writing. But when reading the book it becomes clear that she is the least behind her farmer when it comes to writing poetry.
Our poem is the only book by Hallgrímur and Lóa.
