Arnórr Liljan Krossnes addresses the parliament as follows: "You who in the middle of winter abandon children and farms, barns and haylofts, cows and sheep, barns and kitchens, stomachs, brisket, puffins and sour fields to disappear into the whirlpool of Reykjavík's gloom with pork roast and fish cakes, asphalt and alcohol - you who do all this only to see our secular and physical well-being paid for."
