with nightingale eyes:
a newly awakened fragrant lily
bathed in the white morning sun,
the young woman is pregnant
with bright red flowers
on pink tufts
tireless with desire
for thirsty honey butterflies,
the woman, proud and triumphant
showing the whole world
its spring-sown fertile field
where wonder grows in the darkness
the soil is porous: it grows.
