I throw away the wounded fragments;
Now a poem shall be sung about the king,
The Great Carnival.
The ruler is mighty,
respected by intelligent citizens,
far from liberal,
above all kings.
There are laws in his lands,
who bring the greatest happiness,
that everyone there knew how to dance
and croquettes to make.
