History and mysticism. By Jónas Guðmundsson.
When the book Saga og dulspeki was published, Garðar Þorsteinsson, a member of the Althing, wrote a review for Eimreiðina. He says, among other things, "I can imagine that the explanations presented here for the prehistory of the Germanic and Anglo-Saxon races would not be equally pleasing to everyone, and in general I find it a disgusting theory to believe that one race was chosen by higher powers - God's chosen people - while another played the sole role of being the teacher of the chosen ones. I think that in such a thing there might be some great affinity with the theories that have been most revered by German nationalists, but condemned by most others."
