The History of the Skagstrending and Skagaman by Gísli Konráðsson. Foreword by Pál VG Kolki.
It has been widely reported that one of the best manuscripts of this learned scholar lay unprinted, although the contents of the book were familiar to many in the north. The book is now printed and is called Saga Skagstrendinga og Skagamanna. Páll Kolka, a doctor, has written a long and informative preface to the book, but there is a detailed index at the end. The book could be considered more of a series of stories than a continuous whole, because it has 171 chapters, and the old storyteller tells of men and events and teaches many herbs, as in all of Gísli Konráðsson's writings.
Publisher's presentation in the magazine Jörð 1941.
