The cooperative movement in Icelandic history. A talk organized by the Interest Group on Cooperative History and the Icelandic Historical Society. Authors are Helgi Skúli Kjartansson, Jónas Guðmundsson, Jón Sigurðsson. Photographs were taken by Gerður Steinþórsdóttir.
The book contains six lectures on the cooperative movement in history and the present. Four of them are by Helgi Skúli Kjartansson, a historian who has researched the history of the Icelandic Cooperatives Association in detail. Two former rectors of the Cooperative University then discuss cooperative work in the present and future. The lectures were given on the occasion of the Association's centenary last year.
