Sigfús Halldórsson (7 September 1920 – 21 December 1996) was an Icelandic stage designer, composer and popular song writer. Among his most famous songs are "Dagný", "Tondeleyó", "Litla flugan" and "Vegir liggja til allra át", which he wrote for the film 79 of the station.
Sigfús studied painting and stage painting and graduated in that field from a well-known art school in London in 1945. Sigfús worked as a banker in Reykjavík and was also an art teacher for years. He held many art exhibitions both in Iceland and abroad.
Sigfús wrote a whole host of songs, sang and recorded albums, and also composed music for theater and film.
