A mirror shop in the town. A poem by Sigfús Bjartmarsson.
Memoirs about the Teacher.
When I first remember, he was just there, closer out of sight than in, and that hasn't really changed since. He was the Teacher with a big stick and a branch, and that's how it always had been and always would be, and of course teachers back then were no different.
-- He was larger in the front than others and his face was also still getting bigger, although it actually happened so slowly that you often forgot about it, but this was still suspicious because the explanation had to be that the seriousness of life, as they say, was supposed to be constantly coming to the fore in his face, and then there was a real risk that it would sag more and more over the years and then so unstoppably that nothing would change, although sometimes a counter-intuitive expression might be better for now.
