Improvisation. Poem by Ívar Björnsson from Steðja.
"The poems are mostly written in traditional form, that is, rhymed and stanzaic. Rhyme is sometimes omitted, but stanzaic is usually retained. The styles are varied and some are innovative.
In his choice of subject matter, the author searches widely for clues, and it can be said that nothing human is irrelevant to him. Most often, however, the seriousness of human life is discussed, but fun and playfulness often lurk just below the surface, as those who have read Ívar's previous books will know. There are also often surprises at the end of the poem,"
(From the publisher's press release).
