Yearbook of the Icelandic Tourist Board 2000. In coastal settlements in the north and west of the country. Authors Bjarni Guðmundsson, Haukur Jóhannesson and Valgarður Egilsson.
The 2000 FÍ Yearbook discusses settlements and areas that have in common that they are sparsely populated, little known and are located by the sea. These are, on the one hand, two settlements in the Westfjords, i.e. Árneshreppur in Ströndur and then Arnarfjörður and Dýrafjörður. On the other hand, coastal settlements in North Iceland, i.e. the northernmost settlements of Tröllaskagan along with Látraströnd and Fjörður and the islands of Flatey and Grímsey.
