Tamea. A novel by Peter B. Kyne. The story first appeared as a serial in Morgunblaðið in 1945. Before that, Icelanders had been introduced to the story in a beautiful and well-acted film that was shown in Gamla Bío in 1927. Later, a second version of the story was shown with actors Leslie Howard and Conchita Montenegro in the lead roles.
