In 1907 and later, Landsbanki Íslands lent large sums of money to the “Kaupfélagið Ingólfur” in Stokkseyri and Eyrrbakki, without any collateral at first, but later against collateral in property that “Kaupfélagið Ingólfur” owned nothing in. With this letter, the author of the letter, Margrjet Árnason, sets out the reasons she believes she has for challenging a judge to overturn a national judgment in her case against Landsbanki.
