Twenty foreign poems and one better one are published here in print for the first time, in commemoration of the twenty-fifth anniversary of Mál og menningar. The first edition is printed in a total of 530 copies; 100 copies of it are printed on Precision Offset Cartridge paper from Spicers, London, and those copies are numbered and signed by the translator. The book is printed and bound in Prentsmiðjan Hólar and Hólabókbandi, after the foreword by Hafsteinn Guðmundsson, who has also designed the book cover. Copy no. 75 .
