About Norway and Germany 1938. Travel memoirs of Helgi Hermann Eiríksson.
To some extent a special printing from the 1938 Industrialists' Magazine.
Helgi H. Eiríksson says in the preface that the basis for this book are two radio broadcasts he delivered in the autumn of 1938 about the industrial exhibitions in Oslo and Berlin. The third article that appears here, about the meeting of the Nordic Society in Lübeck, appeared in Morgunblaðið in the summer of 1938, while the last article, about German women, was originally written as a radio broadcast, but the Radio Council "did not dare to allow me to deliver it.... It does not seem to me inconceivable that some people would have been shocked by the broadcast if it had been heard on the radio, like the article about the Lübeck meetings, and the Radio Council therefore showed commendable caution."
