And when the egg-sharp exclamation mark
illuminated from the sky
into the crowd in Thursday Square, and the poet Lozano
from the suburbs of Madrid
decides on æ! instead of ö!
Then that young shiver runs through me
which I find when relatives
praise me unexpectedly.
And when the aunt leaves her shoe
left on the shore,
without revealing where she was going,
It's like something inside me is dying.

countess of a foreign family
or not that hung on her wall
is hidden from me now, and she is gone
